The Bach Society of Minnesota is likely the state’s third oldest musical organization. We continue to build a diverse community with a passion for performing, promoting, and appreciating the music of J. S. Bach. Our regular season of concerts spans the entire range of Baroque music which can find connections to Bach: from choral to instrumental, from sacred to secular, from chamber music to large masterworks. And we do it all exclusively with period instruments and performance practices.
We also host a calendar of early music events on our website. Check it out and don’t miss anything early music-wise that’s going on in the area.
During the St. Paul Classical Music Crawl here Bach Society artistic director, Paul Boehnke, perform solo harpsichord works from the time of Bach.
